The Enugu State Police Command has arrested 52 suspects during security operations across the state.

The police also recovered firearms, ammunition, and stolen vehicles. Officers rescued three kidnap victims during the same period.
The arrests took place between January 24 and January 30.
Details of Arrests Across the State
Among the suspects are three armed robbery suspects and 12 persons linked to kidnapping cases.
Police also arrested three suspects in connection with homicide. Two others face charges related to rape and defilement.
Officers apprehended four suspected cultists. They arrested 28 additional suspects for various criminal offences in different locations.
Weapons, Vehicles, and Drugs Recovered
During the operations, police recovered one firearm and 20 rounds of ammunition of different calibres.
Officers also recovered six stolen vehicles.
The police seized hard drugs and a large quantity of substances suspected to be Indian hemp. These recoveries followed intensified action against drug-related crimes.
Kidnap Victims Rescued Through Intelligence Efforts
Police rescued three kidnapped victims through intelligence-led operations.
The command credited the success to improved intelligence gathering, strong teamwork, and cooperation with other security agencies and residents.
