President Emmerson Mnangagwa led the 397th ZANU PF Politburo meeting in Harare. Senior party and government officials gathered to discuss economic policies and party matters.
The meeting was held at the ZANU PF national headquarters, where senior leaders and party officials arrived for the session.
There was heavy security around the party headquarters as officials arrived in black vehicles. Many of the leaders wore formal clothes and traditional ZANU PF party outfits.
The meeting comes after recent updates from the President on the economy. These updates included efforts to stabilize the currency, control inflation, and improve production in the agriculture and mining sectors.

The meeting brought together senior ZANU PF leaders to discuss party policies and government plans. Those who attended alongside President Mnangagwa included First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa, Vice President Constantino Chiwenga, Vice President Kembo Mohadi, and National Chairperson Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri.
Party officials met in the main council chamber to review reports from different departments. The Politburo meeting is an important platform where party leaders discuss policies, party activities, and plans across Zimbabwe.
During the ZANU PF Politburo session in Harare, leaders discussed ways to speed up national development projects under the government’s Vision 2030 plan. They also reviewed reforms aimed at increasing industrial production and improving development in rural areas.
The leaders also looked at economic activities in important sectors such as agriculture and mining. They discussed ways to improve food production and increase export earnings from the mining sector.
The ZANU PF Politburo session in Harare also focused on internal party matters and upcoming events. Leaders discussed maintaining discipline, promoting unity among provincial structures, and improving communication between senior party officials and grassroots members.
The meeting also helped prepare the party for upcoming national conferences. Officials reviewed reports on membership activities, financial audits, and party operations across different regions of Zimbabwe.
