Matheus Cunha scored a dramatic late winner to give Manchester United a 3-2 victory over Premier League leaders Arsenal at Emirates Stadium.

The defeat marks Arsenal’s first home loss of the season and narrows their lead at the top of the table to four points, following wins by Manchester City and Aston Villa.

Arsenal started strongly, taking the lead in the 29th minute when Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez accidentally scored an own goal.

United equalized after a defensive error from Martin Zubimendi. His loose pass allowed Bryan Mbeumo to break through and slot the ball past David Raya.

Five minutes into the second half, United took the lead through a spectacular strike by Patrick Dorgu, who hit the underside of the crossbar before the ball went in.

Arsenal responded with a quadruple substitution, bringing on Viktor Gyokeres, Eberechi Eze, Mikel Merino, and Ben White. Merino appeared to rescue a point in the 84th minute by converting a corner.

However, three minutes later, substitute Cunha received a pass from Kobbie Mainoo and curled a superb shot from 25 yards into the bottom corner, securing the win for Manchester United.

The victory moves Manchester United into fourth place in the Premier League.
