Nigerian music fans are talking about the Blaqbonez Burna Boy collaboration album after rapper Blaqbonez shared a story about meeting Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy. In a recent video, Blaqbonez recalled meeting Burna Boy at a club late at night last year. He said he asked Burna Boy to feature on his song, but Burna Boy jokingly teased him and suggested he was not serious enough.
The story comes as Blaqbonez continues to promote his 15-track album, NOMADINHO: 4TH PRIME, released on October 16. The project features different music styles, including rap, Afrobeats, and personal storytelling.

The album includes guest appearances from artists such as Victony and Ruger. One of its standout tracks is “CHANEL,” featuring Asake. The song reportedly helped Blaqbonez reach his first No. 1 position on the Official Nigeria Top 100 chart. Another track, “IKEBE 3000,” adds catchy lyrics and lively rhythms to the project.
The discussion about the Blaqbonez Burna Boy collaboration album also highlights how Nigerian musicians connect and talk about working together. Young artists can learn from established stars, while friendly conversations and competition help shape the music industry.
Beyond streaming, Blaqbonez has also appeared on international stages. During Asake’s sold-out concert at the Accor Arena in Paris, Blaqbonez reportedly joined him onstage. Around the same time, Burna Boy performed at the Stade de France in Paris. These performances highlighted the growing presence of Nigerian music on major international stages.
