The Temitope Osoba burial has been scheduled for Thursday, September 10, 2026, in Iperu Remo, Ogun State, following the Yoruba-language Nollywood actress who died at the age of 40.
Osoba’s family announced the burial arrangements on her Instagram page on Monday. The announcement included details about the movement of her body, the burial service, interment, and dress code for attendees.
According to the family’s announcement, Osoba’s body will leave the Ogun State University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu, at 9am on Thursday. The burial service will take place between 10am and 11am at Akesan Club, opposite Iperu Morning Market in Iperu Remo.
The Temitope Osoba burial will take place immediately after the burial service at the Iperu Remo Cemetery. The family has also asked all mourners attending the ceremony to wear white.
Temitope Osoba, also known as Tope Osoba, died in early August 2026 at the age of 40. She spent many years working in the Nigerian film industry, especially in Yoruba-language films. She was known as both an actress and producer and worked in the entertainment industry for almost two decades.

Her fiancé, Prophet Itunu Onadeko, reportedly said that Osoba died after being taken to a police station in Ikorodu, Lagos.
