Akpabio Akpoti Uduaghan leaked audio has brought new attention to the ongoing dispute involving Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan and activist Sandra C. Duru.

Duru released a nine minute audio recording online. She said the recording contains a private conversation with a voice she believes belongs to Akpabio. She also claimed that Akpabio hired her to speak against Akpoti Uduaghan during their dispute.

The audio has raised questions about whether it is genuine and whether it shows the full conversation. The identities of the voices have also not been independently confirmed. Duru has also said that she plans to release more material related to the dispute. However, the authenticity of the recording and the identities of the voices have not been independently verified. The claims have led to calls for forensic examination, while Akpabio’s office has yet to issue a detailed public response to the latest recording
