The video shows several men standing around the front and sides of the Cybertruck, making it difficult for the driver to move. Some of them were seen leaning on the vehicle and making gestures as they demanded money.
The video quickly spread online, with many people criticizing the behaviour of the touts. Nigerian comedian Sabinus also reacted to the incident and criticized the conduct of the men.
The discussion has also focused on the reasons some young people turn to street begging and informal collections. Others have called for stronger enforcement of public order around major event centres.
