Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has urged an immediate end to the conflict with Washington, stressing that Iran will not accept any deal forced through military pressure. He said peace should come through talks that protect Iran’s sovereignty and national interests.
Pezeshkian explained that ending the Iran Washington conflict would help Iran more than letting it continue. He described this as a chance to resolve the dispute from a position of strength, saying diplomacy should not be seen as defeat but as a way to protect Iran’s priorities while reducing economic and humanitarian problems.

He rejected the idea of conditions imposed from outside, insisting that any agreement must respect Iran’s independence and its right to defend itself. For Tehran, negotiations must deal with the causes of the conflict without undermining national rights.
Pezeshkian presented diplomacy as a strategic choice, not a concession. Iranian officials continue to stress resilience against outside pressure while leaving the door open for talks. The outcome depends on whether both sides can agree on issues like security, sovereignty, and future relations.
He also warned that prolonging the conflict puts unnecessary strain on Iran’s economy and creates humanitarian problems for civilians. Ending the fighting, he said, would allow the government to focus on stability and recovery, but only if Iran’s interests are respected.
