Hossein Kanani Moghaddam, a former senior commander in Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said during an interview with Iranian news outlet Fararu , that Iran can assassinate trump even inside white house if they want to, that they are capable of carrying out such operation. But he didn’t give evidence if such plans is underway .
Ex-Iranian commander’s threat against Trump
In addiction to the Ex-Iranian commander’s threat against Trump, Kanani Moghaddam addressed the ongoing dialogue between Iran and the United States, highlighting the nature and purpose of those discussions.
He mentioned that the ongoing negotiations between Tehran and Washington are not aimed at securing a peace agreement. According to him, the talks are focused on reducing tensions while giving Iran an opportunity to present its position and respond to accusations made by the United States.
He stated that Iran focused on claiming their right than pursuing peace with the current US administration. The Ex commander also said that even while diplomatic talks is ongoing , Iran regard retaliation as part of its stance.
His comments was based on the the tense relationship between United States and Iran, following recent military exchanges and ongoing disputes over regional security.
At the time of publication, the White House had not issued any public response to Kanani Moghaddam’s remarks. It remains uncertain whether his remarks represent the official stance of the Iranian government, based on the fact that he no longer holds an active military position.
His comments add more tension between Iran and the United States, even though both sides are still talking in hopes of avoiding more conflict.
