Tinubu and his team also inspected and opened major roads built by Governor Umo Eno’s administration. The roads are expected to make travelling easier, improve the movement of goods and support business activities. However, the preparations for the presidential visit received mixed reactions from some residents.
After opening the projects, Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima and other leaders moved on to APC political activities in the state. The party prepared for a major rally to highlight federal projects, including the ongoing Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway. Tinubu’s visit was also part of his nationwide political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.
