Nollywood stars join Lil Win Ghana movie as prominent Nigerian actors, including Patience Ozokwor, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Mike Ezuruonye, Zubby Michael, and Destiny Etiko, arrived at Kotoka International Airport in Accra to start filming.
The actors were welcomed by Ghanaian actor, comedian, and filmmaker Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win. The new movie, titled A Journey to Africa (Nzulezu), is being produced under his Wezzy Empire production label.
The movie brings actors from Nigeria and Ghana together and is expected to strengthen cooperation between the two countries’ film industries.
Videos shared on social media showed the Nigerian actors smiling, taking photos, greeting fans, and enjoying their arrival at the airport.

The arrival of the actors marks the beginning of filming for the movie, which features well-known stars from both Ghana and Nigeria.
The production of A Journey to Africa (Nzulezu) will showcase one of Ghana’s unique cultural and tourist locations. The movie will be filmed in and around Nzulezu, an old village built on stilts in the Jomoro District of Ghana’s Western Region.
Nzulezu is built over Lake Tadane and is home to more than 500 people. Residents mainly depend on water transport, while the village is known for its traditional buildings and way of life.
The village has also attracted international attention because of its cultural and historical importance. It was previously considered for possible inclusion on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
The project has also received some criticism from people in Ghana’s entertainment industry. Some questioned the cost of bringing several Nigerian actors to Ghana, saying the money could instead support local actors, filmmakers, and technical development.
However, supporters of the project believe that bringing well-known actors from different countries can help attract more viewers and create opportunities for West African films in international markets.
The Wezzy Empire team also plans to seek opportunities for cinema releases and digital streaming after the movie is completed.
As Nollywood stars join Lil Win Ghana movie production, the team hopes the project will strengthen cooperation between the Nigerian and Ghanaian film industries and help bring more West African stories to wider audiences.
