Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage has warned X (formerly Twitter) influencer Dami Foreign to stop mentioning her son, Jamil Balogun, in his posts.
The warning followed a post on Tuesday in which the influencer wrote:
“Omo, Why’s Tiwa Savage son frowning?”
Savage responded directly:
“I dare you to post anything about my child again and THIS WILL MOVE BEYOND TWITTER.”
Repeated Attacks
This was not the first time Dami Foreign targeted the singer. His previous posts include:
-
January 3, 2026: “Make we forget hype, Tiwa Savage don dey old o.”
-
September 23, 2025: “It’s sad how Tiwa Savage fell off after Wizkid cut her off.”
-
May 19, 2025: “Tiwa Savage no know sey she don old?”
Savage called out the repeated attacks, saying:
“Talking about my child is crossing the line. I never cared about your past attacks, but this is too far.”
She added:
“Dami, it will not end well for you. You even wished I would die young…. Back to sender.”
Additionally, she dismissed the influencer’s focus on her:
“Your obsession with me is loud, but your relevance is missing.”
Public Reaction
The exchange quickly drew attention on X. It sparked debates about online harassment, cyberbullying, and protecting minors on social media.
While public figures often face criticism online, this incident renewed discussions about the limits of social media commentary and Nigeria’s “banter culture.”
