Iranian security forces arrested three brothers in Shahin Shahr, a city in Isfahan Province. Authorities continue to hold them in prison without filing any formal charges.
The brothers are Saman Kianivafa, Arman Kianivafa, and Rahman Kianivafa. Security forces arrested them on January 25, 2026. The arrests happened in Shahin Shahr, but officials have not explained the reason.
After the arrests, authorities transferred the three men to Dastgerd Central Prison in Isfahan. As of February 5, 2026, they have spent 11 days in detention. Officials have not shared any legal grounds for holding them.
Family members say prison officials have not allowed visits. Their mother reportedly visits the prison every day to ask about her sons. Staff at the facility continue to deny her access. They have also refused to provide case information.
The lack of contact has raised concern about the brothers’ situation. Family sources say officials have not confirmed whether the men have lawyers. Authorities have also not mentioned any court dates or charges.
Arman Kianivafa works in the medical field. Rahman Kianivafa previously served in the military. He later left the service and now works in drywall and ceiling installation. There is no known public record of criminal charges against any of the brothers.
Similar cases have raised broader concerns about detention without charge in Iran. Human rights groups often report arrests where detainees remain in custody for long periods without legal clarity.
So far, Iranian authorities have not released any official statement about the arrests. The legal status of the three brothers remains unclear.
