Thailand Crane Collapse: 2 Dead, 5 Injured on Busy Road
Two people died, and five others were injured when a Thailand crane collapse struck a busy road on Thursday morning in central Thailand. The accident happened shortly after 9 am on Rama II Road in Samut Sakhon province, a major highway linking Bangkok to southern Thailand.
Officials said a crane used for an expressway bridge project toppled and hit two vehicles driving below. As a result, two people died at the scene, and rescue teams took five injured victims to nearby hospitals. Police quickly secured the area and closed several lanes to prevent further accidents.
