The United Arab Emirates has confirmed it will not allow its airspace, territory, or waters to be used for attacks on Iran. It also said it will not provide any logistical support for such operations. The UAE stressed a diplomatic approach to regional tensions.

UAE Calls for Dialogue and Calm

The UAE Foreign Ministry said dialogue, de-escalation, international law, and respect for sovereignty are the best ways to resolve crises. It emphasized that disputes should be solved through diplomacy.

Rising Tensions Between US and Iran

Tensions have increased after anti-government protests in several Iranian cities last month over worsening economic conditions. Meanwhile, US media reported that the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln and three destroyers reached the Indian Ocean en route to the Gulf of Oman.

US Military Position

US President Donald Trump confirmed that a US “armada” is heading toward the Middle East. He said Washington is closely monitoring Iran. Officials have stated that all options, including military action, remain on the table as part of efforts to influence Iran’s ruling system.

Iran’s Response

Iran warned that any attack would trigger a “swift and comprehensive” response. Last June, Israel, backed by the US, launched a 12-day conflict with Iran. Tehran responded with drone and missile attacks before a ceasefire was reached.
