A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe, has strongly dismissed claims by former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai that the ruling party could lose power in the 2027 general elections.
El-Rufai made the assertion on Thursday while speaking at the 23rd edition of the Daily Trust Dialogue, where he suggested that internal challenges and public dissatisfaction could threaten the APC’s hold on power after President Bola Tinubu’s first term.
