Milan-Cortina, Italy – Team USA has unveiled its 232-athlete roster for the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) announced Monday.
USOPC CEO Sarah Hirshland praised the athletes, saying they reflect “commitment, perseverance and spirit” that embody the best of Team USA.
Age Range Highlights
The roster includes 117 men and 115 women, with star athletes ranging in age from 15-year-old freeskier Abby Winterberger from California, the youngest on the team, to 54-year-old curler Rich Ruohonen from Minnesota.
Ruohonen, a personal injury attorney, will become the oldest American ever to compete at the Winter Olympics. Both he and Winterberger will make their Winter Games debuts.
Returning Olympians and Medalists

Bobsledders Kaillie Humphries and Elana Meyers Taylor, among seven Americans making their fifth Olympic appearances

Hockey player Hilary Knight, figure skater Evan Bates, snowboarders Faye Thelen and Nick Baumgartner
Among the team, 33 returning medalists include Meyers Taylor with three silver and two bronze medals, Humphries with three golds, and Mikaela Shiffrin and Chloe Kim, each with two gold medals.
Olympics Schedule and Venues
The opening ceremony is scheduled for Feb. 6, with some competitions beginning Feb. 4.
