Read Time:2 Minute, 10 Second

Sienna Rose, a jazz-inspired soul singer, has nearly three million monthly Spotify listeners. Her track Into The Blue has been streamed over five million times. Yet, fans and experts are questioning whether she is real or AI-generated.

Clues She Might Be AI

Sienna Rose has no social media, has never performed live, and released an unusually high number of songs in just a few months. Between September 28 and December 5, 2025, she uploaded at least 45 tracks—an output even prolific artists like Prince would find challenging.

Her Instagram, now deactivated, showed almost identical headshots with lighting typical of AI image generators. Listeners also report audio “artefacts,” such as subtle hissing and inconsistent drum patterns, which are common in AI-generated music.

Industry Reactions

Streaming platform Deezer flagged many of Sienna Rose’s songs as AI-created. Gabriel Meseguer-Brocal, a senior research scientist at Deezer, explained that AI music leaves a mathematical “signature” that makes it identifiable.

Fans noticed generic melodies, simple lyrics, and vocals that rarely vary from the main tune. TikTok critic Elosi57 described her music as “uncanny valley,” while others said it sounds “soulless” once they suspect AI is involved.

On the streaming platform Tidal, Rose is listed as the artist for several folk and ambient albums, all released last year, each featuring different singers on the cover art.

Celebrity Attention

Despite doubts, some stars have used Sienna Rose’s tracks. Selena Gomez added Where Your Warmth Begins to an Instagram post about the Golden Globes. The post drew more attention to the singer and her mysterious identity.

The AI Music Debate

Sienna Rose highlights a growing trend. Deezer estimates that 34% of its daily uploads—around 50,000 songs—are AI-generated, up from just 5–6% a year and a half ago. Some platforms, like Bandcamp, now ban AI music entirely due to copyright concerns and its impact on human artists.

While AI music costs very little to produce, established musicians argue fans value authenticity. Pop star Raye said, “Fans prefer real music over computer-generated songs. I write to share my story, not to compete with algorithms.”

Who Is Sienna Rose?

Pop star Raye says listeners value authentic, emotional music more than AI-produced tracks.

Her true identity remains unknown. She could be a real singer hiding from the spotlight or an AI experiment testing the limits of music streaming. Either way, Sienna Rose raises questions about the future of music and artificial intelligence in the industry.
