Russia Thanks UAE for Hosting Trilateral Talks on Ukraine Crisis
Russia expressed gratitude to the United Arab Emirates for hosting recent trilateral talks with Ukraine and the United States. The meetings aimed to advance diplomatic dialogue on the Ukraine crisis, according to the Emirati state news agency WAM.
Kirill Dmitriev, Russia’s presidential envoy for international economic and investment cooperation, met with UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi. Dmitriev conveyed greetings from Russian President Vladimir Putin and personally thanked the UAE for hosting the discussions.
The talks, which concluded on Saturday, focused on promoting dialogue and exploring diplomatic solutions to the conflict. Kyiv and Washington welcomed the negotiations and said they will continue next week.
The meetings also explored cooperation between Russia and the UAE. Officials discussed ways to expand economic, investment, and development partnerships.
