Crypto.com Launches OG Standalone Prediction Markets Platform

Crypto.com has launched a new standalone platform called OG focused entirely on prediction markets. The move expands the company’s growing presence in regulated event based contracts in the United States.

According to a company announcement, OG is powered by Crypto.com’s Commodity Futures Trading Commission registered exchange and clearinghouse. The platform will host prediction markets tied to major sporting events such as the Super Bowl and March Madness. It will also include non sports event categories and parlay style contracts.

Margin Trading and Social Features Added

Crypto.com said OG will introduce margin trading to prediction markets using its federally licensed futures commission merchant. This allows eligible users to trade contracts with borrowed funds beyond their initial deposit.

The platform will also include peer to peer engagement tools, user leaderboards, and interactive features similar to social media platforms. As part of its launch strategy, Crypto.com plans to offer rewards of up to 500 dollars to the first one million registered users.

Previously, Crypto.com offered prediction markets through its main app and via third party partnerships. One such partnership enabled sports event contracts on a gaming platform across multiple states in 2025.

Prediction Markets See Rapid Growth

Crypto.com Co Founder and Chief Executive Officer Kris Marszalek stated that the company’s prediction markets business has recorded forty times weekly growth over the past six months. He noted that the scale of growth supported the decision to create a dedicated platform focused on customer experience and technology.

The company confirmed that its Chief Legal Officer Nick Lundgren will serve as Chief Executive Officer of OG. Lundgren previously oversaw the regulatory process that led to Crypto.com offering the first CFTC regulated sports event contracts in the United States in late 2024.

Initially, OG will operate exclusively in the US market. However, the company indicated that international expansion may be considered in the future.

VIP Experiences and Consumer Protections

OG will also feature a VIP program linked to Crypto.com’s existing sports and entertainment partnerships. Planned experiences include access tied to Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles as well as collaborations with organizations such as the UFC the UEFA Champions League and Formula 1.

The company said it will prioritize market integrity and consumer protection by providing tools to help users manage risk and trade responsibly. Specific details on these safeguards were not disclosed.

Availability Limited in Some States

Crypto.com did not provide a full list of states where OG will be available. At present, the company does not offer sports related prediction markets in several states including Arizona Michigan Maryland Massachusetts Illinois New Jersey Nevada and Ohio.

Regulators in these states have raised concerns that sports prediction markets may constitute unlicensed gambling. Some jurisdictions are involved in ongoing legal disputes with prediction market operators. Crypto.com has confirmed it halted sports contracts in Nevada and Maryland following regulatory actions.
