President Bola Tinubu has ordered the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to unfreeze the First Bank account that is operated by the osun state government.

According to the report, the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC). stated that the investigtors uncovered two more fake agencies allegedly linked to Aderemi Adeyemi who possed as the Director-General of the purported Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council (PFIPC).
The news draws attention to corruption investigations, environmental concerns in the Niger Delta, prison security challenges, and policing reforms. it has also rasised concerns that weak regulation may be allowing excessive methane emissions affecting nearby community.
The EFCC chairmain ,Ola Olukoyede is under criticism following the news that the order to freeze the osun state government account has been lifted.
