Recruitment of the primary School Teachers into public schools was approved by Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji, and was announced by the Chairman of the Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Prof. Femi Akinwumi, according to him the main purpose of this Recruitment was to improve the staff levels and strengthen the state’s basic educational system.
This decission was made to fill the vacacy of teachers that left their position over the past few years. due to retirements, and to ensure that the schools have an adequate numbers of qualified teaching personnel rather than employing teachers for a new positions.
Recruitment of the primary School Teachers
Ekiti State Government stated that they are going to recruit only the qualified teachers that are capable of rendering good quality teaching to primary school students, so as to help strengthen their early learning foundation in Education.
Based on the statement released by Prof. Femi Akinwumi, he said that Governor Biodun Oyebanji approval of Recruitment of the primary School Teachers is a clear demonstration of his commitment to Ekiti State to ensure that public schools have an adequate numbers of qulaified teachers and good quality education.
He also said that this recruitment will be done by using a transparent and merit-based process, and the candidates will be Recruited based on this factors, such as their academic qualifications, The staff needed for the schools, the subjects thats lacks teachers, and professional skills .
Femi Akinwumi adviced the interesred candidates to always listening to communication channel for an updates regarding the recruitment process such as the application opening date, the document required for this recuitment, Screening schedules and application procedures.
