Nigerian politics has drawn attention following the release of the updated All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council list. Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has reportedly been named the state coordinator for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign. The appointment has raised questions because Adeleke belongs to a different political party.
The Ademola Adeleke APC campaign coordinator appointment has also sparked discussions about political alliances in Nigeria. As the 2027 general elections approach, people are watching how this development could affect politics in Osun State and the wider South-West region.

Governor Adeleke’s appointment puts a non-APC governor in charge of Tinubu’s campaign in Osun State. The move aims to build regional support and strengthen the party’s grassroots presence.
The campaign council announcement has sparked debate in political circles and across the media. Adeleke has often stressed the importance of supporting South-West leadership to attract federal attention, improve infrastructure and promote regional development.
