Detroit Pistons center Isaiah Stewart has been suspended for seven games following a major on-court brawl against the Charlotte Hornets.

James Jones, Executive Vice President and Head of Basketball Operations, announced the suspension, citing Stewart’s repeated history of unsportsmanlike conduct and his involvement in leaving the bench area to join the altercation aggressively.

How the Incident Started

The altercation began in the third quarter of the Pistons’ 110-104 victory at the Spectrum Center on February 9, when Diabate committed a defensive foul on Duren with 7:09 remaining.

All four players involved were assessed technical fouls and ejected from the game.
