Professor Omoregie stated:
“I hereby certify that I am the returning officer for the Anambra governorship election. Having satisfied the requirements of the law and scored the highest number of votes, I declare Soludo Charles Chukwuma duly elected.”
He further affirmed that Soludo secured two-thirds of votes across all 21 local government areas, meeting the constitutional requirement for victory.

With this declaration, Soludo retains his seat as Governor of Anambra State, continuing his administration’s reforms under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) platform.
Supporters across the state have already begun celebrations, praising what many describe as a peaceful and transparent electoral process.
INEC commended Anambra residents for their high voter turnout and orderly conduct, despite reports of isolated incidents in a few polling centers.
