The AFCON 2025 quarter final fixtures are now fully confirmed as the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 enters its decisive stage.
Eight teams have progressed from the round of 16 and will compete for places in the semi finals after a series of intense knockout matches across Morocco.
Algeria sealed the final quarter final slot after a dramatic 1 to 0 extra time victory over DR Congo in Rabat. That result sets up a heavyweight clash with Nigeria, who earlier secured qualification with a commanding 4 to 0 win against Mozambique. Victor Osimhen scored twice in that encounter to lead the Super Eagles through.
Meanwhile, Senegal, Mali, hosts Morocco, Cameroon, Egypt and defending champions Côte d’Ivoire had already confirmed their places in the last eight. Côte d’Ivoire completed the lineup following a convincing 3 to 0 win over Burkina Faso in Marrakesh.
