Russia’s Russian Interior Ministry said traffic police officers were patrolling the station square in their official vehicle when an unidentified explosive device was detonated.

The officer who lost his life was identified as Police Lieutenant Denis Bratuschenko, aged 34. He served as a senior inspector in the traffic police and had been a member of the force since 2019.
Authorities stated that he is survived by his wife and two children.
